Health and care training provider The Learning Enterprise has achieved accreditation for its clinical Continuous Professional Development training packages.
It means health and care professionals undertaking courses run by the training company, which is based in Farnham but covers the whole of England and is part of the health and care provider Virgin Care, count towards annual professional development requirements set by professional regulators.
To become accredited, courses are scrutinised to ensure that they meet training standards of integrity and quality. 11 training packages from The Learning Enterprise now carry the CPD stamp, and nine further packages will be added over the next 12 months.
Current training packages that are CPD accredited include:
- Anaphylaxis & Treatment by AAI’s
- Basic Wound Care
- Basic Life Support
- Compression Bandaging Theory
- Deteriorating Patient
- Diabetes Awareness in Social Care – Non insulin
- Diabetes Awareness – including Insulin delivery
- Duty of Candour
- IV Therapy Study Day
- Domestic Abuse
- Course Emergency First Aid at Work
